It is stable enough for her to move and turn on her own and feel like she is 'riding' a bike. I like it because it is made for small kids and doesn't sit so high off the ground. The basket is cute and makes it easy for kids to carry things around and give rides to their favorite dolls. It was simple enough to put together and is pretty durable. When my children were small they had a little ride-on that they loved and wore out. This one I found at Amazon was the perfect item I wanted. She can ride it in or outside the home. It is excellent and with John Deere's name on it how could it be anything else. I was very happy to see it and get it so fast - as with all Amazon products - they are GREAT!GREAT!GREAT!. She takes her baby for rides on it. It glides good and seems to be a good size for her age..15 months. She uses it in the house as well as out and has a cute helmet to wear when she is outdoors.
